Meachers Global Logistics Depot Manager, Andy Sheppard has been elected as the new Road Haulage Association (RHA) Chairman for the Hampshire Sub-Region. Meachers Global Logistics opened its doors to pupils at The Burgate School in Fordingbridge, giving them a unique opportunity to learn about the UK logistics industry and the rewarding careers it offers. The visit to Meachers’ warehouse in Nursling, Southampton, was part of ‘Immersive Days’ organised by the Maritime and Transport Careers Programme (MTCP), to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week (5-11 February).
