UKWA Warehouse Manager of the Year awarded to Emma Newman

Meachers Global Logistics’ Warehouse Manager, Emma Newman, has been awarded the prestigious Warehouse Manager of the Year title at the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) Awards 2024, which took place at The Royal Lancaster London on 10 July.


The award is a testament to Emma’s exceptional leadership, innovative approach, and sheer commitment to operational excellence at Meachers.
Her strategic vision and hands-on management style have been instrumental in optimising processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a high-performing team and 100% customer satisfaction rating.

Beyond her operational excellence, Emma is a passionate advocate for mentoring and supporting women to enter the logistics industry.

Speaking of the award, Emma said:

The prestigious event brought together industry leaders to recognize outstanding achievements, innovation, and best practices.

This year’s awards showcased the critical role the warehousing industry plays in supporting the UK’s economy and supply chain resilience, setting benchmarks for continued growth and excellence in the sector.
